Wow, white and red, I would never have thought of that color combination for a sweater. I'm a little nervous of wearing white anyway, since I always spill something on myself, like coffee. Or I get drooled on by a child of mine who just ate peanut butter. ;-)
And you Banff is GORGEOUS! If I didn't already have too many things to knit, I would join that knitalong too. Maybe later, when I can justify it. :-)
Posted by Rachael Fox at February 10, 2004 9:59 PMYour Banff looks so comfy! It looks longer than mine, did you add some inches to the length of the body? Enjoy wearing it. One in cotton sounds like a terrific idea!
Love the red stripe at the edge of the B&B sweater. Very neat. And best of luck finding the extra arms necessary to make your first fair isle! ;0)
Posted by alison at February 11, 2004 6:46 AMI must knit the Banff sweater!!!!! Where is the pattern from, please?
Posted by Mac at February 11, 2004 10:52 AMHey Morgan, I posted MY B&B pics!! Go here: http://www.offonatangerine.com/photos/archives/cat_bed_breakfast_sweater.html. It's so exciting to see so many of them getting closer and closer to wearable! :-)
Posted by Rachael Fox at February 11, 2004 8:44 PMACK .. Banff info: Knit the length corresponding to the large size but knit the small size
Posted by Morgan at February 11, 2004 11:12 PMI'm doing the same thing with my B&B, only cabling the front. I figure I don't really need the back cabled for any good reason, and it will make it done so I can wear it that much sooner :D
Posted by Sammi at February 12, 2004 10:00 AMGreat Banff. I love it! And the color is lovely.
Posted by Rayne at February 12, 2004 10:05 AMI like your blog a lot and I love your Banff but I have a question. Do you think the sleeves are too loose?
Posted by Debra at February 12, 2004 11:33 AMDebra, now that I am wearing it no I don't think that the sleeves are too loose. I was doubtful at first too when i saw them .... but i love how they are when i am wearing it!!
Posted by Morgan at February 12, 2004 6:49 PMBanff is awesome! I so love the sleeves and how they flare. Gives it a distinctive look.
